We'll Make Your Pets Truly Happy
Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization located in north central Arkansas. Since 1992 we have strived to improve the lives of the dogs and cats living in our service area. Working with Horseshoe Bend animal control, we provide spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations and vet care for the sick and injured adoptable animals housed there. When finances allow, we extend our spay/neuter assistance to include the pets of residents in Izard, Sharp and Fulton Counties, AR. Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals provides pet foods to the local food bank to distribute to their clients with pets. We want to help animals live their best lives.

Spay/Neuter
If you live in the city of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals will contribute funds toward the spay/neuter of your cat or dog which will be paid directly to one of our participating veterinarians. If you would like to take advantage of this, please call 870-373-2649 so a voucher can be prepared for the veterinarian.
Rehoming
If you have a dog or cat that needs to be re-homed, Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals can help publicize this on our Facebook page and also in the Pacesetting Times, the local newspaper. We have many contacts with rescue groups that may be able to help place your pet. Photographs, the pet’s history (vaccinations current? spayed/neutered?) and temperament are helpful in finding new homes.

Have you lost or found a pet? We can help by posting the information on our Facebook page. We also have access to the Facebook page of Lost and Found Pets of Sharp, Fulton, Izard and Surrounding Counties.
